About Us: We are 2 men and 3 women between the ages of 24 and 29, some who have been living together for over 3 years. We are an intentional community that shares food and meals, holds bi-monthly consensus-based house meetings, and obeys the dictates of the all-knowing chore-wheel!
We are teachers, artists, activists, dancers, social workers, writers, planners, acrobats and bakers. Three of us are Jewish and enjoy holding periodic Shabbat functions and celebrate holidays. Two of us are progressive and liberal Christians. We like to use our space for community building, social gatherings, activist and artist events, and dance parties. We like to watch movies, garden, dance, do yoga, take walks around the neighborhood, cook yummy food, play sports like Frisbee and soccer, ride our bicycles and go for hikes in the Wissahickon. We are Mariposa Food Co-op members, not-quite vegetarians but mostly eat vegetarian by default (and for some, by choice).
About You: You are 24 or older, non-smoker, light or non-drinker, little to no drug use, queer-friendly, Jewish-friendly, clean, responsible, and warm. You are looking for a home, not just a place to sleep. You are interested in sustainable living, including buying local, recycling, and composting. You are interested or experienced in the fun and challenging endeavor of living cooperatively, and you have your own interests and awesome qualities to bring to our community.

Seeking New Housemate for A Communal Group House in West Philly
This is the house where my buddy Nava (not my sister Nava) lives. (She's the acrobat.) This house is totally amazing. Since I can't have a shade garden and compost bin, you should have one and let me live vicariously through you!
